The Stately Early Georgian Mansion
Is stone-built, stuccoed and painted, with Delabole, slate and leaded roof, and entered from the South-east through a handsome Portico supported by a pair of fluted Tuscan columns and pair of Ornamental Wrought-iron gated.
Occupying a very fine position in the midst of a beautifully-timbered Deer Park of about 200 acres, commanding views of the surrounding picturesque country to the South-West and South-East, approached by two carriage drives, that from the South being over a half-a-mile long, and guarded by two lodges. The delightful lawns, pleasure grounds, avenues and gardens of upwards of 40 acres, together with stabling, horticultural buildings, parkland, model cottages, etc. The whole extending to 249 acres
The Capital brick-built and slated stables
